In an attempt to modernize Hotmail, Microsoft completely redesigned its mail client, introduced new changes in the design of the service and extended its functions.


Microsoft's new webmail service, Outlook, has already exceeded 10 million users . The company believes that this new registration is a success and expects the service to continue growing.
Microsoft surprised on July 31 by announcing the renewal of its email platform. In an attempt to modernize Hotmail, Microsoft bet on its Outlook brand to completely redesign the service, introducing drastic changes in the design of the service and expanding its functions.
Outlook aims to make e- mail consultation more agile and improve access to information for social network users . It is a completely renewed experience that any user can start enjoying with their Hotmail account.
After the launch of Outlook, the service managed to register 1 million users in its first 24 hours . Microsoft worked so that the migration to the service was simple, allowing access with the Hotmail credentials, so that the mails and contacts were exported automatically . This strategy has been confirmed as a success and the service has reached a new milestone.
After more than two weeks in operation, Outlook has exceeded 10 million users. Taking into account that the service is in the testing phase, Microsoft has celebrated this new milestone. The company has highlighted that they are very honored of the interest of the users, who have turned to "hundreds of positive comments".
The 10 million registered users in Outlook are an important record, which Microsoft has treated as a stimulus to continue improving the service. As Outlook is perfected, it is expected that users will pass their Hotmail accounts to this new service, so new registrations will soon be surpassed.
